Thelbert Arthur Glover

SPRING HOPE – Thelbert Arthur Glover, age 98, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025. Born in Nash County, NC on April 1, 1927, he was the son of the late Percy Glover and Lola Honeycutt Glover. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Ellen Glover and brother Stanley Glover.

Thelbert was a proud veteran of the US Navy from 1945 – 1946 during WWII.  He also served in the fellowships of the Masons, Shriners, VFW, Nash County ABC board for 12 years, and the Stanhope Fire Department.

Thelbert is survived by his son, Michael Glover and wife, Cheryl of Spring Hope; nephew, Dean Glover and wife, Megan; nieces, Connie Freeman and husband, Tommy, Amy Winham and husband Brian, and Terri Hudkins and husband, Scott.

A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Bailey Town Cemetery, 11499 S. NC 581, Bailey, NC 27807 with Rev. Larry Flowers officiating.
