Dorothy Louise (Denton) Morgan Sanders

SPRING HOPE – Dorothy Louise Denton Morgan Sanders, age 97, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026. Born in Nash County, NC on November 18, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Christopher C. Denton and Bertha Perry Denton. She was also preceded in death by her two husbands,  Lindbergh Morgan and Ray Sanders; son Timothy D. Morgan; sister, Mildred D. Vick; and brothers, John L. Denton and Harold D. Denton.

She was a member of Samaria Baptist Church.  She loved the Lord, her family, gardening, and her cat.

Louise is survived by her daughter, Cathy Finch; her brother, Kenneth E. Denton; her grandson, John Anthony “Tony” Finch; her great-grandchildren, Carrie Finch, Holly Finch, Andrew Finch, Matthew Finch, and Katie Finch; her special adopted great-granddaughter, Ashlyn Bowden; several nieces and nephews; and special friends also the caregivers, Teshia Toney and Knox Olsen.

A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Spring Hope Memorial Gardens, 7830 Webbs Mill Road, Spring Hope, NC 27882 with Rev. Larry Perry officiating.
